October 1st means it's time to get out the crochet pumpkins, leaves, and blankets and decorate the house for the autumn season. The spookier crochet has to wait in our house until the last week or so in October, but it's nice to get the rest out now and cheer up the place, as it's currently cold, grey, and permanently raining here with not much to bbrighten up my mood up otherwise it seems. If you fancy having a go at making some pumpkins or a leaf garland, or perhaps even a little autumn friend like Mr Fox blankie, here are some ideas and where you can get the various patterns shown in the photos: 🦊 Mr Fox blankie - make a granny square with 11 rounds of orange followed by a round of white and then one last round of double crochet DC's (UK terms) in each stitch (plus (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in the corners) in black.
